Okay so yea this is it, it's final and I'm going to Taiwan from the 29th of Nov - 16th of Dec and then to Bangkok from the 18th of Dec to 22nd of Dec. So that means that i'll be away for most of the holidays. I'll be in singapore for Christmas so YAY ! :]

Hello everyone.
Jane is at camp and it's her 2nd day only! I pity her, seriously! But hang in there sweetie, 2 down, 3 more to go. We'll go on a mega shopping trip once you're back. (: Miss you. ♥

Everyone is busy with lectures, and we're like the only ones without make up lectures. Feels so weird to be this free. But then again, we have heaps of holiday homework. I'm going to start doing them early since I wouldn't have much time left after returning from Taiwan. Plus I think I'm going to Bangkok with my family, and all that Christmas gatherings/parties will take away all the study time that I have. I need to start working now!

Anyway, today is my meimei's 15th birthday. 15 sounds very young ! And she is indeed still a small girl (or at least that's how I feel) I still worry when she don't pick up my phone calls, or even when she goes to katong mall for tuition alone. But then again, I have to remind myself that she is going to be a sec 4 next year and is really a big girl now!

It's the holidays!! Time flies, and soon it'll be Christmas :) I love Christmas!
Today, Sunday Times introduced Julia Child's Boeuf Bourguignon recipe.

Julia Child

I got to know of her recently in the movie, Julie and Julia. Julia Child (August 15, 1912 – August 13, 2004) was an American chef, author and television personality. She introduced French cuisine and cooking techniques to the American mainstream through her many cookbooks and television programs, notably The French Chef which premiered in 1963. Her most well-known cookbook is Mastering the Art of French Cooking, published in 1961.

Julia was around 188 cm tall and to accommodate her formiable height, her husband designed her an entire kitchen with high counters. Julia's kitchen is still on display at The National Museum of American History at Washington DC. On August 13, 2004, Julia died of kidney failure at her assisted-living home in Montecito, two days shy of her 92nd birthday.

I've been watching videos of her cooking show, The French Chef and they're awesome. (:
